Trees
2011-2015
Over the years, trees have been a recurring theme in my art. I’ve reviewed and explored nature, not always in all its bountiful glory.
The basis for the series is a wooden board on which I place color and wood cuttings. An attempt to exhaust the ability between color space and the creation of a new reality in the works of art.
The naked trunk, the exposed tree, the skyline and the space – divided up between heaven and earth, between substance and nothingness.
I capture the moment, without any external changes such as seasons, hours, shadows; conveying emotions and associations which touch the observer.

העיסוק בעצים בעבודותיי חוזר במהלך השנים, תוך חקירה וסקירה של הטבע אשר לא תמיד עומד במלא הדרו.
הבסיס לסדרה הוא לוח עץ עליו אני עובדת בהנחות צבע וחיתוכי עץ. הנסיון - למצות את היכולת בין מרחב צבע ויצירת מציאות חדשה בתוך העבודות עצמן.
הגזע העירום העץ החשוף, קו הרקיע וחלוקת המרחב בין שמים לארץ, בין מוחשי לריק.
אני משמרת את המראה, את הרגע ללא שינויים חיצוניים: עונות, שעות, צללים; ובכך מעבירה תחושות ואסוציאציות הנוגעות בצופה.
